there needs to be some sort of tribute made to the folks that work behind the scenes at design houses, the people responsible for bringing paper drawings into fruition, with their bare hands.

watched a documentary some time ago, I think it may have been on Lagerfeld, and that was the first time I ever thought about, and saw, the people whose job it was to meticulously put together these designs, and who were mostly older women.

I saw that doc too and it just involves so much skill, time and hard work. Just in awe of those ladies.

I wonder what it must be like to have to sew all the stuff for Balmain. so much detail, damn.
